About me

I am a self taught artist, initially working in gouache I now predominantly work in oils and pastel. I try to tackle as many subjects as possible, constantly striving to improve my knowledge and ability with every painting throwing up it's own set of challenges.
My previous 25 year career as a Graphic Designer has dictated my predominantly photo-realistic style, the detail and colours in even the most mundane of subjects fascinates me and hopefully this comes across in my work.
